Dr. Damon Orlando
Dr. Damon Orlando is a board certified Chiropractor who has been practicing in Century City for 14 years. His love of fitness and exercise fueled a passion for physiology, athletics and reaching an optimal level of health. As an athlete growing up he was treated with chiropractic many times for sports related injuries, with great success! This led him to Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, where Dr. Orlando earned his professional degree in 1997. He continued that love for exercise and has gone on to study and craft his expertise in functional movement analysis, core and strength training, athletic performance enhancement and sports injury rehabilitation to integrate these into his chiropractic office. In 2007 he started Corporate Wellness programs with Merrill Lynch, UBS, Seismic productions and other large companies to educate and facilitate on site wellness care. On-site lectures educated employees about spinal health and the importance of regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle. Boot camps and yoga classes were done in the company offices. Needless to say employees lost weight, increased their level of fitness and and had less back pain while creating healthy habits. In 2011 he co-founded and developed the fitness curriculum for B.E.N.E.fit, LLC, a health and lifestyle program designed to help patients lose weight and reduce cardiovascular risk. In working with an M.D., nutritionist and behavioral therapist, Dr. Orlando developed a well rounded approach to patient’s issues and how to use a comprehensive approach to care. As a wellness professional with years of experience, Dr. Orlando is able to accurately diagnose and formulate effective treatment plans with his patients using chiropractic, exercise therapy, pilates, yoga, and massage therapy. Using this integrative approach allows Dr. Orlando to relieve his patients pain quicker and create a foundation for lasting muscloskeletal health.
Erika Quinn
Erika was first introduced to Pilates through her study of classical ballet and modern dance. Years later, after hanging up her dancing shoes, she began taking Mat classes while living abroad as a way to improve her French language skills. Seeing the positive benefits of this form of mind-body exercise and aching to return to a more physical lifestyle, she became increasingly interested in both perfecting the repertoire and in teaching.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 2007, Erika decided to begin training to become a Pilates instructor and received her full certification through STOTT Pilates. She is passionate about the amazing effects Pilates has on the body and sincerely believes it is great for everyone — whether you’re a seasoned athlete, recovering from an injury or just in need of a little exercise TLC.
